WOLLONGONG captain Mat Campbell believes more fancied rivals are in for a surprise if they underestimate the Hawks in 2008-09.

While last season's team had its offensive limitations, Campbell says this Hawks outfit boasts more scoring options.

"We've got enough talent to win games, and we've already shown we're prepared to make sacrifices and get the ball to the person who's got it going on the night," the veteran guard said.

"That's a good trait to have, and with so many scorers, it's going to be hard for other teams to stop us."

Campbell "got it going" with 5/7 three-pointers in Saturday night's 111-99 home win over Sydney, finishing with a team-high 20 points.
